I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), Research Lead with the Project on Workforce at Harvard, and a Visiting Scholar at The Institute for Quantitative Social Science (IQSS). My research focuses on investigating inequalities in the economics of education, crime, and the intersection of both fields. In my research, I draw on labor economics, econometrics, and large administrative datasets to identify the causal impacts of different policies in schools, colleges, and society.
I earned my PhD from Harvard University in May 2025. At Harvard, I was a Stone PhD Scholar in Harvard’s Inequality & Social Policy Program, an IES-PIER Fellow, and an inaugural Research & Policy Fellow at the U.S. Department of Education Office of Federal Student Aid. I was named a Presidential Scholar by Harvard University, Semifinalist for the NAEd/Spencer Dissertation Fellowship, and Finalist for the AERA-NSF Dissertation Grant.
